Do you remember going to the barber shop?  Not the discount “Cutteries and Clips” places, but the real barber shop.  You know, where a man would go, spend maybe an hour chatting up with his fellow man, and the barber would not only cut your hair, but would pull out the old straight razor, warm shaving cream and trim the back of your neck to finish off a really good haircut.

What did he do next?  He whipped out the neck duster brush, sprinkled a touch of talcum powder on it and dusted your neck to both remove loose hairs and to condition your skin against irritation.  It’s from a time when your barber actually gave a damn about the quality of your hair cut.  He went the extra step to insure you enjoyed the experience and wanted to return soon.

Well now, you can have that same feeling at home.  We’re proud to announce our new, handcrafted custom wood handle Neck Dusters.  Available in a myriad of hardwoods, these dusters measure 5/8 inch in diameter and nearly 4 1/2 inches in length.  Just sprinkle on some talc and enjoy that finishing touch anytime you need it.  These will be available on a limited basis in our Store.

It’s been a busy weekend here at Harry Pear Soap Company.  We just completed another batch of shaving soaps to keep our customers in supply.  It’s been an amazing grand opening so far, and we’re looking forward to hearing more from our customers once they’ve had a chance to experience our products.

Today marks the end of another batch of shaving soaps ready to ship.  We rolled out some Bay Rum, Spiced Mahogany and even Unscented shaving soap to replenish the stock. So you won’t have to wait long to receive yours when you place that order.

It’s amazing how much the classic manly fragrances are in demand in today’s world.  I guess some things truly are timeless.  There’s nothing more luxurious than a nice wet shave with a masculine shaving soap.  It’s a once a day treat for a man, and as busy as our schedules can be, we think you’ll find that slowing down just a bit to indulge yourself will be well worth the time spent.

That’s right.  Today is the unofficial Grand Opening of HarryPear.com and that means you can buy our stuff while we wait on photographs of the soaps.  In the meantime, the label art is out there.  All of our soaps are made without dyes, so they’re mostly clear.  No colorants, only fragrance additives.  All natural soaps that make you wish you’d had a Harry Pear a long time ago.

Yes, it’s been a long process, but we’re in the home stretch.  We’re working on product photographs right now.  You can start placing your orders now if you wish, I mean, it is just soap after all.  It’s not a lot to look at.  The products are ready, just not the product photos.  Trust me, it’s soap.  You wash or shave with it.  Don’t be that guy.

All of our soaps are hand made from all natural ingredients and are never colored or dyed. That means you’re getting 100% natural products that are great for a man’s skin and beard.
